I had such a wonderful stay at this homestay. The room was large, clean and had a lot of natural sunlight. The feeling of the accommodation is very peaceful which was really nice to come back to after busy days sightseeing. The bed was super comfy also. Veronica and Gintaras are both so kind and warm. I really enjoyed interacting with them both throughout my stay and they did everything to make my stay comfortable and easy. They did little things that went above and beyond like bringing me fruit by the pool while I was swimming, helping me schedule transport around the island or just having friendly conversation throughout the day. They are great hosts and I would definitely stay again during my next visit to Zanzibar. The accommodation is especially good for those with early morning or late night flights as it’s just a quick 15 minute drive to the airport. It was a great choice for me as a solo female budget traveler as well. I felt looked after and for a great price as well. Asante sana Veronica and Gintaras!

Everything was lovely

I had an incredible stay in Zanzibar! Veronica and Gintaras were so welcoming and hospitable. The room was huge, clean and beautifully designed. I especially liked the location of the homestay. It is in a calm quiet area with a large garden. The nearby forest also gives the area a nice feeling. I saw lots of gorgeous birds and even a Zanzibar Sengi. There are also great local restaurants and a good beach for walking and watching the fishermen nearby. I especially liked the food at the nearby Peaceful Lodge. You can also easily visit Mbweni ruins nearby. Stonetown is straight down the road for about 20 minutes by bajibaji or bus. It was easy to travel to and from town, so the location was excellent. It was nice to be out of the city but still be able to see the sights. Veronica also organised a very convenient taxi shuttle to and from the ferry terminal for me. Overall I highly recommend this homestay for visitors to Zanzibar!

I had such a wonderful stay here and honestly wish I had booked for longer! The home was spotless, cosy, and had such a warm, homely feel that made it easy to relax from the moment I arrived. The pool was beautiful and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Zanzibar. The location was also perfect, peaceful, safe, and away from the hustle and bustle, while still being convenient to get around. What truly made this stay exceptional was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, regularly checking in to ensure everything was okay and making me feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness and hospitality made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming place to stay in Zanzibar.
