Accomodation was modern & location was good for sightseeing.
There was an issue with the downstairs restaurant when we checked in, which meant the reception area was filled with bags, equipment & many people. No breakfast or restaurant as a consequence & no explanation offered by reception staff.

Window had to be kept open because of the new construction materials smell.

Brand new hotel, great for families! The room was super comfortable, spacious, and perfect for a couple traveling with a baby and a lot of luggage. The bathroom was super nice. Additionally, the breakfast at the hotel was excellent—the food was of a high standard, we enjoyed eating there every morning.
Location-wise, it is a bit far from the main center of Kyoto, but there is a metro station within walking distance, so we managed to get around quite easily.
