Sundaras Sigiriya Jungles Resort

From the moment we arrived at the property we could tell this was a beautiful place. We were greeted with flowers and a welcome drink which was so refreshing after the 4hr drive from Colombo. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable with a balcony, good air-conditioning and a comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Offering a lot of variety of local and western choices. I recommend trying the freshly cooked hoppers. Delicious! What made our stay extra special would have to be the staff. Everyone was so incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly do have a wonderful team of people working there.

Towels provided in the room were clean but looking like they are due to be replaced. Also some written information in the rooms regarding things like open times of the restaurant, bar and pool would be useful (these were told to us on arrival but it's difficult to remember when you are tired from travelling).

Atmosfæren og servicen fra personalet. Morgenmaden er god.

Ofte kaos ved morgenmaden - man kan ikke få bord. Værelset var meget under standard. Og vi fik endda forud besked på at vi havde fået en gratis værelses opgradering. Balkonen var ubrugelig - udsigt til byggeplads og skrald. Frit udsyn til man tager bad og går på toilettet fra byggeplads. Meget i værelset var i stykker og totalt nedslidt - se billeder.
