Welcome to Tilli’s Garten Vacation Home
Enjoy your vacation in a newly renovated house that has retained the charm of the era in which it was built. Tilli’s Garten, named after the host’s grandmother and the large, almost park-like garden that she tended for many years. Scharnitz, a nature park community and starting point for hikes in the Karwendel, is also known for its snowy winters and is ideal for cross-country skiing.
You and your family, friends, or acquaintances can relax in a cozy atmosphere after an active day on Tyrol’s high plateau or a hike in the Karwendel—right in the heart of town, yet sheltered and almost hidden from view by the surrounding greenery. The central location also offers several short hikes—some of which are historically interesting—suitable for any weather, as well as direct access to hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. A grocery store and restaurants are located nearby. Thanks to its proximity to the train station, access to public transportation is ideal. The Brunnstein, Scharnitz’s local mountain, is naturally ever-present. The host family lives nearby and is always available to assist you.
The house offers plenty of space for up to 10 guests and
features, beyond an inviting foyer, a private dining room, a fireplace room with a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The four spacious bedrooms on the upper floor, all with garden views, and three modern bathrooms with showers/toilets or separate toilets, each have their own charming character. If needed, up to two extra beds can be added.
A special highlight is our in-house sauna and the relaxation room with a view of the garden—perfect for unwinding and recharging after an active day in the mountains.
In total, you have 180 m² at your disposal in the house.
The spacious outdoor area with a furnished terrace, outdoor shower, and fire pit offers plenty of space and privacy.

In the basement of the house, there is a small, privately used apartment for the owners’ own use with a separate entrance. The house is always rented out as a whole, which means you will, of course, be the only guests.
