Luxury rooms

The property was very nicely decorated, the beds are very comfy, large telly and comfy sofa. Very spacious and good kitchen equipment. Very central to town with the Ashton market only 2 mins away. There was a car park 1 min walk away which was 24hr cctv manned.

There were a few snaggy problems. I have contacted owner but no response, so will post them here. Getting access wasn’t particularly easy as wasn’t obvious how to get in, it was a gate round the back of the barbers labelled 2a and 4a, also wasn’t obvious how you gained entry to property, it was a key box and you needed the code from the owner (this wasn’t shared until I phoned him!) The hot/cold tap in kitchen is reversed. There were no tea towels, so we used a clean duster to dry up. The toilet seat was too small for base and not fitted properly, quite precarious to sit on. There was only one lamp which although it turned on, started flashing on and off after 10secs. Also the only light switch for big light was on opposite side of room to the beds, so you had to find your way in the dark. Have suggested more lamps to owner. Access to apartment is up some very steep stairs and the only light switch I could find was at the top of the stairs, so not great when there are no windows with natural light in porch. The owner states there is parking opposite. Technically there is - there is a short stay car park with up to 2 hours free but max of 3 hours. There is on street parking outside after 4 and until 10, but we couldn’t get a space as quite tight.
