Forest View Luxury Villa Chantara

Located high up the mountains, it's incredibly peaceful, and the villa itself is modern with all available amenities guests would need. 10/10

Strategically chosen for the Forest View location in the Troodos mountain range, in an area which we know well, with direct access to the remote earthen forest-road-network for our daily hikes. Further drivers for our choice was the comfortable indoor-outdoor layout of the house-garden area, spacious kitchen to prepare fresh trout meals sourced directly from the fish-farm located in the valley below, and the showers with "glass" splash partitions (and not shower-curtains) ... The location is secluded with no sound of main road traffic and no light pollution from street lights or neighbours. The home-owner, who we spoke to over the phone a couple of times, was also very help-full.

Nothing can rival the beauty of the natural environment of the home, that is so aptly reflected through the 4 seasons so dutifully provided by Mother Nature, making the artificial plants (that interior designers seem to overzealously recommend in their attempt to emulate a static “perennial” decoration) out of place as these do not bode well with the setting in the forest.
