Il Borgo del Vergante

Het appartement was ruim en donkerder dan op de foto's het geval was. Maar het was lekker koel door de airco. Het terras bevond zich naast/boven het restaurant, waardoor je iets minder privacy ervaart. Maar dit hadden we van te voren kunnen weten.

Ik had de afstand naar het meer iets korter verwacht. Voor alle uitstapjes met de kinderen heb je de auto nodig. In de beschrijving stond dat er airco was in het huis. Nu zijn de slaapkamers boven niet gescheiden van de kamer, maar de airco kreeg de bovenverdieping niet koel genoeg. Onze host Patrizia heeft direct gereageerd op ons verzoek en een ventilator geregeld.

We liked the location of the apartment. Near Lago Maggiore, quick access to a supermarket and a lovely restaurant down stairs. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was wel equipped.

During our stay it was quite warm in Italy (35C+) The apartment has only one airco (living room) and no airconditioning in the bedrooms. Furniture was a bite uncomfortable especially the chairs (in- and outside) The first days the WiFi was a bit of a challenge. The appartment uses the WiFi of the restaurant. But when the restaurant closed, WiFi was gone (turned off) After discussing this with Happy Rental the WiFi stayed on. The apartment has some strange electrical sockets, so we could not use the washingmachine and hairdryer (bathroom) After consulting with Happy Rental an adapter was provided. Happy Rental was very helpful, Big thanks to them! The balcony was small and not suitable to have outside diner.
