Steps to King St Restaurants & Bars Downtown Condo

The location was excellent! Right off King Street, so we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go including to catch the free shuttle to take us to places a little further out. There were three of us, so the size of the property was perfect and having two bathrooms made getting ready much easier. The kitchen, though we did not use it, is very spacious and stocked with everything you might need. The property was super clean, and it was nice to have a washer/dryer in unit. I also appreciated the Smart door lock and not having to worry about keeping up with keys.

It was soo cold inside! Even adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to help much. Yes, it was super hot in Charleston everyday, but we didn't need the inside to be frigid to feel comfortable. Also, no place to hang towels or place them after use. Some hooks or hampers in the bathrooms and/or bedrooms would have been helpful. One con of the location is that it is behind a bar, so we could hear the music and revelry late into the night, which made it hard to fall asleep. Finally, we didn't recall seeing at the time of booking that it was an upstairs unit with no elevator access. It wasn't necessarily a problem, but getting all of our stuff up and down the steep stairs on arrival and departure was a little cumbersome. If it was in the description of the unit, I missed that. If not, it would be nice to include it for future renters so they know, for those where navigating stairs would be a challenge.
