This was our family’s first visit to La Princesa resort. We have visited Rocky Point a handful of times. Our host Kim and Dan were very communicative from the beginning of our booking. Checking in at the gate didn’t take long at all and the gate staff was very friendly and well versed in English. Once we made our way to our room there was plenty of parking and the room was easily accessible from the parking lot. Our room was recently renovated and we loved all the details of the room, especially the large flooring tiles. We were provided with plenty of towels and blankets for all of us. Definitely a great spacious room for a family vacation. The patio space is great and provided a great spot to take a siesta. There were plenty of vendors at this beach location, water skis, banana boat, mix drinks, fruits, etc.

The resort could do a better job with its swim up bar. The drink that were on the menu were good, they didn’t offer any shots or micheladas. There’s only one hot tub that filled up fast. The bar in the restaurant closes at 10 Pm but did offer all the drink options. Restaurant food was ok, the Cajun Shrimp,French Fries and quesadilla were good.
