Hi...my name Lakshmi from KL. I have make a reservation for 1 day stay at Sun Hotel Penang. I satisfied to stay at this hotel. The room, toilet and outside lobby was clean, neat, tidy and well maintained, all thought slightly smaller than expected. The Management and staff was friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location was convenient for transportation, close to restaurant and shops. Reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it...thank you

The location is wonderful. But the service is poor. there is no cleaning of the room. I stayed there for a couple of days. Toilet papers ran out, soap ran out, the towel turned dirty, etc.. I texted the manager and he responded but the cleaning lady was busy with her phone or with her sleep. The rubbish was cleared only once in my 5 to 6 days there. The rest of the time I have clear the rubbish myself. There was no hot water. Food and drinks are not allowed in the room otherwise they forfeit your deposits.

The room we stayed was very basic, no refrigerator, no amenities at all.
Very simple and basic room worth the budget.
The only issue was untrustworthy annoying staff.
In last day when we check out, the staff seemed not to give deposit back to us until we do not speak of it.
