Nothing, it was perfect

The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. We really enjoyed the space and would have loved the stay if not for the maintenance issues.

The apartment has several maintenance issues that affected our stay. Most seriously, we had a complete power outage on our last night (~10pm to midnight) with no advance warning — me and my daughter had to wait outside on a dark, empty street until it came back, which felt unsafe. Beyond that: water pressure is very poor; the master bathroom toilet clogged on day 2 and stayed unusable for the rest of the stay; the master bathroom sink was also clogged and dirty; the master shower is unusable for privacy, as it faces a large uncovered window directly across from the hotel building opposite; and the main entrance door lock was faulty, taking several minutes to open on two occasions late at night. Given these issues, especially the unannounced power outage, we feel a partial refund is warranted.

The shower in the en-suite bathroom didn’t work properly otherwise the property would have rated higher.

The size of the apartment. In general, the apartment was clean.

The communication with the host. Took some time to get back; nothing was ever fixed. The bathroom was not clean. The bathtub drain in the second bathroom was not working, and all the dirty water stayed in the tub all night. The shower had no water for most of the stay. It worked for a few hours, then went back to the same issue. I sent a video, but no fix to the problem. There was a washing machine, but no pods to wash clothes. The window inthe second room was stuck, would not close all the way, the whole night we could hear the noise from the street, not helpful for a light sleeper. All of this was communicated to the host in real time; it felt like they were listening, but they never came back with a solution. I spent only two nights, so it was ok to hold off on taking more showers, but for an extended stay, it will be hard.
