:) Host: very helpful, attentive, and friendly Location: very convenient, central location but not excessively touristy or crowded area, walking distance to many cafes/restaurants/shops/museums/historical sites; also just 15-minute walk to Catania Central Bus Station where you can travel to other cities such as Taormina for day trip Property: clean, comfortable, cosy, check-in process was easy with lockbox and instructions from host, big terrace for morning sun and coffee I love walking around and I appreciated the local vibe the apartment/area had to offer - would definitely come back again. :)

There's no lift and the apartment is on the top floor (three flights of stairs including the one after you enter the outer building), so be mindful if you are bringing a very heavy luggage. But personally did not mind as I only had a small 10kg luggage; plus walk-up buildings are very common in Europe anyway. :)
