Mare ed Etna

Really beautiful view of Etna and the bay. Nice private terrace.

It was really difficult to find the accommodation. There were no house numbers in the area, only street names - the entrance to the accommodation was also on a different street than the address. No information was provided in advance. Unfortunately, the information on how to find the accommodation and how to get to it came only a few hours before arrival, but we were already on our way. We did not see the email - we only discovered it in the evening, there was no message in the application. We had to deal with everything with the owner over the phone abroad and it was very complicated. If we had not met someone on the street, we probably would not have found the accommodation. Moreover, the entire peninsula was closed by a gate, where the doorman was only there until 6:00 PM, but luckily the plane arrived on time, otherwise I don't know what we would have done. The apartment was clean but very small and not very functionally furnished. The bathroom was very small and the toilet kept running a little, which made an unpleasant noise. The beds were not very comfortable.
