A Modern Vacation Home in The Pocono's Area

We were traveling to purchase a property in the area so the location was excellent. The apartment was very large and clean and comfortable. It was close to restaurants and grocery stores. We went on the tour of the No. 9 Coal mine tunnel and museum in Lansford and it was wonderful. We love touring historic and cultural sites and the area's history as a major producer of anthracite coal is very interesting. We drove around the area a lot looking at houses for sale and we love the mountains and forests, the local cities and boroughs with their historic downtowns, and also buying food in local ethnic shops (kielbassa and pieroges) to take home.

It was difficult to turn the control knob in the small shower all the way up to hot. Since we left the window in the bathroom and other rooms open at night to take advantage of the cool night air (we were traveling from Georgia where hot and humid weather started a few weeks ago and where water lines aren't buried that deeply so tap water isn't cold in the summer), we were in the mood for warmer water in the shower.
