Gîte de la Fruitière: Swimming pool and Ardèche charm

The Gîte de la Fruitière welcomes you to a peaceful setting in the heart of the Ardèche countryside, ideal for comfort and relaxation. In the summer season, enjoy a swimming pool and a pétanque court, as well as numerous trails for escaping into nature. Located in Saint-Vincent-de-Barrès, a listed medieval village 20 minutes from Montélimar, the gîte is an ideal starting point for exploring the Drôme Provençale and the Ardèche Gorges. The Gîte de la Fruitière is an apartment renovated in 2025 in a modern and minimalist style. It has been set up on the first floor of an old stone building. It consists of: - A large living room with a sofa and a dining table for 6 people. The room also features a pellet stove for year-round comfort. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook like at home: oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a separate WC. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed (140cm), two bedside tables, a wardrobe, and heating. • Outside: - A private dining area is reserved for you in the garden next to the accommodation (see photos). - The swimming pool and pétanque court are shared with the owners, as are the other green spaces. - The swimming pool is generally open from May until the end of September, depending on the weather. • Parking: Parking is available on-site around the accommodation. • Location: Located a few minutes from Saint-Vincent-de-Barrès, a village classified as a "Village of Character" and labeled "Small Towns of Character", you are 1 hour from the Ardèche Gorges and only 20 minutes from Montélimar, as well as 45 minutes from Valence. Within a 30-minute radius, you can: Visit caves, castles and hilltop villages steeped in history; Go caving; try paragliding; go horseback riding, quad biking, or buggy riding; cycle through the vineyards and take one of Europe's most beautiful cycling routes, "La Dolce Via"; visit numerous artisan workshops and agricultural producers, or hike to discover nature and historical sites, etc. • Guest access: You will have private access to the entire property as well as an outdoor dining area. The swimming pool, pétanque court, and other green spaces are shared with the owners who live upstairs. • Communication: Typhanie (the concierge) will assist you throughout your stay. She is available by phone or via the Vrbo messaging system to answer your questions. She will contact you as soon as you book and will welcome you on site. -- IMPORTANT TO NOTE -- Please note that the accommodations are located on the edge of a secondary country road with moderate traffic. Bed linen and towels are NOT provided; it is possible to rent bed linen only (€15 per bed). Cleaning is included. The swimming pool is generally open from May until the end of September, weather permitting, and is accessible every day.
