The Mayan Palace Golf across the street from the beach area of the resort is the only available accommodation location now. It has 3 buildings open beside the water park, pool and lazy river. The Samba Restaurant is near the pool. The resort has beachfront property on Playa Diamante which is a short shuttle ride away. As of January 2025, the Mayan Palace beachfront building is under construction because the original building was destroyed by Hurricane Otis in October 2023. The Mayan Palace Golf is only 8 km from the Acapulco International Airport. The cozy bedroom features a comfortable king bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like free WiFi, 2 TV’s, kitchen, living room and full bathroom. The living room offers an additional space with two sofa beds with trundles for extra guests. Up to 4 adults and 2 children can stay in the suite. Daily housekeeping. An 18 hole golf course is on the property. It is very challenging and fun to play for an extra cost. Tennis on clay courts is available at an extra cost. There are several excellent restaurants and bars at this upscale property. Food, beverages, golf, tennis and water park are not included in the rental cost of this one bedroom suite. The Mayan Palace pool is spectacular. Servers will take care of all of your food and beverage orders while you enjoy lounging around the pool. Enjoy the happy hour offerings. The large sandy beach on the Pacific Ocean is gorgeous with lots of lounge chairs. You will enjoy swimming in the pool and the ocean. Daily activities include beach volleyball, aquatic stretching, water aerobics, water polo, blackjack, arts & crafts, beach soccer, ceramic painting, Zumba class, ping pong, cookie decorating, making your own key chains and bracelets, bingo, billiards tournament, karaoke night, salsa night and Vidanta Joy Squad Games. Several restaurants and bars to enjoy including Mexican, Seafood, Italian, American, Pizza To Go and others. Room service is available as well. Brunch at Cafe Del Lago is fabulous. Paella Fest every Saturday, Country Buffet every Sunday evening and Mexican pozole every Thursday. Groceries and beverages (including alcohol) can be purchased on site at Sun Market. Walmart is located 2.5 km away. Complementary shuttles will take you around the large property. Nightly entertainment is available at various locations most evenings. Enjoy live music at The Bar. USD$1000 credit card authorization will be done at check in. Standard Mexican ISH room tax will be charged at check out at the lobby desk (about $10 per day). At check in, you may be asked to attend a 3 to 4 hour timeshare sales presentation which includes a free buffet breakfast. The presentation is completely optional.
