The Space:
This magnificent condo has a view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Tropical Gardens and Pools. Beautifully decorated in a tropical theme with soothing blues, greens, and coral tones this unit compliments the resort and its surroundings. The unit has an open floor plan that leads to a private wrap around balcony with outdoor furniture. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table. This beautiful home offers a twin bunk area for extra accommodations. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and DVD player. There is a half bath located off the main hallway near the bunk alcove. The primary bedroom features a king bed, private bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, private bath with stand up shower, TV, and DVD player. The third bedroom offers a trundle bed, private bath, TV, and DVD player. this home has a laundry room with stackable washer/dryer for your convenience.

Beach service is included from March to October.
All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL
All registered guests staying at Waterscape will be required to wear the
RFID wristbands provided. These wristbands are mandatory
for access to all Waterscape amenities.
Please note:
● Wristbands must be worn at all times when using the amenities.
● Guests without wristbands will not be permitted access.
● Wristbands are provided only for the number of registered guests
and cannot exceed the unit’s maximum occupancy, all occupants
count toward max occupancy regardless of age
● Guests must provide the exact number of occupants in order to
receive the correct amount of wristbands for their stay
● A $25 non-refundable fee per wristband will be charged if any are
lost or not returned at checkout.
● Children 5 and under are not required to wear the wristbands
● Wristbands are not required for beach access

Pros: Check in was fast and easy. Arrived early and had access to the amenities while waiting for check in time. The views are amazing! Furniture upholstery needs cleaned or replaced and unit had roaches (which we reported)

As a Louisiana native, I have been visiting the beaches of Florida for 50+ years. I have stayed in many locations along the pan handle. We love Waterscape because of the pool amenities for our children/grandchildren. We chose this Waterscape condo because it is on the end and has a wraparound balcony that gives a full view of the gulf as well as a side view of the pool area. While the condo was clean, it was the least appointed of any condo I’ve ever stayed in. There is one medium sized and one small pot. There were no plastic or non-breakable glassware of any kind for balcony/child use. Kitchen utensils are laying in drawers with peeling paint with no utensil holders. There is a hole in one of the bathroom walls that has not been patched. The seating area in the den does not accommodate relaxation space for the number of individuals the condo will sleep. The sofa/love seat are very small and uncomfortable, and the throw pillows that are on them are in desperate need of washing or replacement. The lighting is terrible! The condo desperately needs some floor lamps to create light, especially over the dining table ( there is no ceiling light there, making it an uncomfortable area to eat or play board games/cards). And while there is a ceiling fixture/fan in the den area over sofas, it is small with an enclosed globe, and did not illuminate the area well at all. There are two end table lamps in this area with dark shades that did nothing to add any light to the room. So instead of enjoying the evenings in what should have been a comfortable den space, there wasn’t enough seating and the lighting made it seem as if we were in a cave until the sun came up again. There is no beach decour whatsoever. I know that does not affect the comfort of the condo, but I’ve never stayed in a beach rental that did not try to bring a beach theme inside. Again, just an observation, not a necessity. Waterscape is a fantastic resort. The resort itself is superior and the services/upkeep is pristine. They are doing things right! If your condo selection is primarily for a full gulf view, this condo will suffice, and it was clean. There were just a lot of small inconveniences as mentioned that can be easily fixed and add to the enjoyment that folks are PAYING for. It just seems a shame to me to have the most desirable condo location in the resort and have the comfort and amenities inside lacking.
