The Space:
You’re in for a treat when you stay at this gorgeous, recently updated Crossings at Watersound condo. You’ll be around 100 yards from the beach, and surrounded by state parks, hip local restaurants and shopping on Hwy. 30A. Charming towns like Rosemary Beach await just down the road. On-site amenities include a pool and shared grills. Outdoor space at home includes a shady, pool-front balcony on the main level, perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails, and a private balcony off the lower-level, primary bedroom.
Inside, you’ll find luxurious, high-end furnishings and finishes, making you feel pampered from the moment you walk through the door. The full, modern kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances, including a Viking stove, and plenty of workspace on the granite countertops. The open living and dining space encourages gathering, and there’s plenty of room for everyone at mealtime between the dining table for eight and kitchen barstools. Spend the evening relaxing with a little TV on the plush sectional after a day of exploration. At the end of the night, three well-appointed bedrooms await, each with an en suite bathroom. Beautiful townhome in Watersound, great location n a beautiful community, about 100 yards from the beach. Great features and styling, comfortable beds and plenty of space. Could have fit 3 families. A bit difficult to find the specific house within the development as the 5G coverage wasn’t great and there are two separate gates. Our biggest gripe was the absolute lack of basic amenities: no shampoo, hand soap and body wash at any of the rooms, no salt, pepper, condiments, cooking oil, no “leave behinds” from prior guests. This is a Vacasa managed home which may indicate the lack of personal touch from hosts, but the attentiveness and response time from the team was lackluster. When we texted them to say there are no toiletries, they stalled and asked us to check all cabinets, and only the next morning a rep was kind enough to connect to the local team and have someone drop toiletries. Even then they did not bring enough! Not very good service for the price.

This condo is clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable bedding and furnishings, plenty of room and a nice layout with great access and views of the pool on the first floor, and a good view of the dunes and the ocean from the second floor. Other than some wear and tear that is to be expected of vacation rentals, the photos are a very accurate depiction of a 5-star condo that our family enjoyed and we recommend.
Just a few head's up to consider when booking - because of the protected dunes (which are beautiful), getting to the beach is a bit of a trek on the boardwalk, which if unexpected, can be a lot for little kids and all the stuff that comes with a trip to the beach.
There is a very large pantry (unmarked) across from the kitchen, which appears to be a locked door, but was not. Do NOT go buy a coffeemaker (like we did, and others before us because there were multiple coffee pots in there) if you don't see one on the counter, because it is probably in the pantry. The kitchen is accommodating, but not fully stocked like home, so plan accordingly if you intend on cooking meals in the condo.
The golf cart in the garage is not available for use, which is consistent with the booking information that does not list it as an amenity, but to avoid confusion when you arrive and see a beautiful 6-seater parked there, it could be described more explicitly.
