About this house rental
The Laussnitzer Hof is located at 1,283 meters above sea level on a sunny south-facing slope at the western end of the Nockberge Mountains—in the Katschberg Lieser-Maltatal region. The sweeping views and close proximity to nature define the character of our small, organically farmed mountain farm.
At the Laussnitzer Hof, you’ll experience country life up close with mother cows, sheep, and goats. Children can help out with barn chores and discover life on a mountain farm through play. Our own chicken and quail eggs ensure a fresh breakfast, and in the small self-service shop you’ll find homemade jams and syrups, a fine selection of products from neighboring farms, alpaca products, honey, and more. Our refrigerator is stocked with cold drinks to keep you refreshed on hot summer days.
The farm is located at the foot of the Ebenwald-Laussnitz Lakes hiking area; a 10-minute drive takes you to the parking lot, from which various trails lead through the rolling hills of the Nockberge Mountains to magnificent views. The free hiking bus takes you to many attractive hiking and excursion destinations. From May through October, the guest card is also included, offering numerous benefits throughout the region.
For your stay, you can choose between our cozy vacation apartment, a camping spot close to nature, and a small double room. Everything is intentionally kept small so that peace, nature, and genuine encounters take center stage.

In November 2018, we’ll be adding an infrared cabin for two people to the vacation rental, which will be available to you at the start of the winter season—that is, starting the first weekend of Advent—and is sure to provide moments of relaxation after long days out on the slopes.
On-site fees: Unless otherwise specified and announced, the following cancellation policy applies: • Up to 3 months before arrival: €0 • 3 months to 1 month before arrival: A processing fee of €50 • 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 30% of the total price • 1 week before arrival through the day of arrival: 90%
Check-in is available from 2:30 p.m. to 9:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
