Newly renovated and thoughtfully curated with plants and modern comforts, this 2BR apartment is minutes from downtown, Yale, and nearby universities. Enjoy central air, in-unit laundry, fast WiFi, a spacious kitchen, and free parking — all on a residential, tree-lined street perfect for relaxing or working remotely.
Whether you`re visiting for a weekend, a week, or an entire semester, Sun Haven is designed to feel like home. This private 3rd-floor apartment was fully renovated in 2026, and my husband Colin and I poured an incredible amount of care, time, and attention into creating a space that feels both beautiful and comfortable. We truly care about our guests and take pride in offering thoughtfully designed, high-quality stays.
The apartment features central air conditioning, a brand-new kitchen and bath, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. There is both off street and street parking available. The layout includes two bedrooms with queen beds, plus a living area with a couch that can accommodate an additional guest. An air mattress is also available upon request for added flexibility.
This sparkling clean apartment features everything you`ll need to feel at home including:
- All bedding and extra blankets and pillows
- Towels, hair dryer, iron and ironing board
- Washer and dryer and laundry supplies in the unit
- Complete dishware, pots and pans, and cooking supplies
- On-street parking and off-street parking available
- Gigabit speed Wifi with free Netflix, Hulu, MAX, Peacock, Paramount+, and Disney+
- Pack and play, high chair, inflatable mattress, and desks are available upon request.
-Access to a shared, 2nd floor balcony.
Regarding supplies: Please note that we do provide starter items, such as paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing and shower items, that will last you the first few days. If guests run out of these items or there is something not provided in the unit that they need, guests are expected to obtain these items on their own. We have a list of grocery store options in our guidebook if needed.

Guests are able to access the entire apartment and all shared porches and balconies.
We like to give guests their space; however, we live nearby and are able to visit if needed. Guests can always reach us by app or phone.
* Please excuse the appearance of the front yard and back parking area. This is a *brand new* house. The landscaping is our next fun project! :)
Parking: Limited off street parking is available in the back of the house. We do our best to guarantee one car per unit. At times, however, the parking lot may be full. If the parking area is full, guests must park on the street. Street parking is free and easy on our street.
Noise: This is a multi-family home, so you should expect to hear guests staying in the other apartments.
Construction on the house next door may be going on during the day in 2026, so you may hear some construction noise at times.
Shared Spaces: All porches and balconies are shared with other guests in the house.

This unit is beautiful, newly remodeled, very clean and comfortable. It is on the third floor, something to consider if you have young children or much luggage. The front walkway and back parking area are not quite completed, but the house is easily accessible from the back. The location is very nice, in a lovely neighborhood, and is close to everything we needed. Our host was accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
