About this house rental
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space.
Located in Dunan, just outside Broadford, our Island Home is a fantastic location from which to explore Skye, or, if you prefer, to snuggle up and enjoy the views of Scalpay. It’s a relaxing and comfortable home from home.
The space
The house has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living room complete with a log burning stove and stunning views over Loch na Cairidh to the Isle of Scalpay and the Isle of Raasay.
The "green" bedroom is a double with an ensuite that includes a shower. The "pink" bedroom is a twin furnished with two single beds. There is a separate family bathroom with a large bath with shower over.
Additionally, there is a utility room with a washing machine, dryer and clothes hanging facilities.
The bookshelves are stocked with DVDs, books and board games to keep you entertained after a day of adventure. There are two TVs: one in the living room and the other in the "green" bedroom. Both are equipped with Freesat and access to all the usual streaming apps.
Guest access
You will have exclusive access to the entire house, except for one room that is locked and used for storage. The spacious driveway in front of the house can accommodate multiple cars. A post and wire stockproof fence fully encloses the garden, although we cannot guarantee that it is entirely secure.
Other things to note
Bookings generally begin on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday and require a minimum stay of three nights. If you would like to discuss alternative arrangements, please message us directly to check if it is possible. While we cannot accommodate every request, we are open to considering them.
