Pelican Perch was the perfect sanctuary for our family of eight and our dog Willie. The home was clean and offered stunning views; we loved starting our mornings on the lanai, catching glimpses of both the Gulf and the Bay over coffee. The layout was ideal, with incredibly comfortable beds and plenty of space for everyone. Our 6 kids loved it! The kitchen was a highlight—fully stocked with quality utensils and a great coffee maker, making tropical family meals a breeze. Plus, the beautiful beach is just a five-minute stroll away and it is dog friendly! Shannon, the new owner, made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We’ve officially fallen in love with Dauphin Island and this home. We loved the drive over the bridge, ice cream at Island Rainbow, dinner on the deck at Islanders, Fort Gaines, and the Aquarium of course! We truly hope to return next year!

We had an incredible stay on Dauphin Island with our family, and this house made the trip absolutely perfect. Traveling with my wife and our three boys means we need a place that’s comfortable, easy, and family-friendly—and this home checked every box.The location couldn’t have been better. Being so close to the beach made morning walks, afternoon swims, and sunset views part of our daily routine. Those are the kinds of moments that make a family trip memorable.The hosts clearly care about their guests and the property. Everything was well maintained, communication was smooth, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish.If you’re looking for a place on Dauphin Island that’s perfect for a family getaway, we would absolutely recommend this home.
