About this cottage rental
Custom-built and thoughtfully designed, the home blends craftsmanship and relaxed luxury with cheerful and unique details. The open-plan living room is anchored by the wood fireplace and framed by expansive windows that draw your eye directly to the ever-changing water views. Split-system air conditioning ensures comfort, while sliding doors open wide to the waterfront deck, dissolving the line between indoors and out.
The kitchen is equally impressive, featuring a double oven, bar fridge, espresso machine and two oversized sinks. A generous island flows seamlessly into the indoor dining area positioned alongside — perfect for long family meals and shared conversations.
Outdoors is where the experience truly unfolds. A heated stainless steel plunge pool extends toward the elevated view deck. The pool heating is designed to take the cool edge off the water and make swimming more comfortable, particularly during cooler weather. It does not heat the water to spa temperatures, so please keep this in mind when planning to use the pool. The built-in teppanyaki-style gas BBQ is integrated into the alfresco dining table, creating an interactive entertaining space unlike any other. As the day fades, gather around the waterfront fire pit for a cosy evening under the stars.
The primary suite is your own peaceful retreat offering a king bed, a full ensuite and direct access to the deck and the beach beyond. The second bedroom also features a king bed, while the third includes two singles, all filled with natural light and cooled by ceiling fans. The main bathroom is spacious and beautifully appointed with a walk-in shower and quality finishes.
A laundry area provides added convenience for extended stays, and a private garage offers secure parking for three vehicles. There is only one split-system air conditioner located in the lounge.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
St Kilda is one of South Australia’s hidden waterfront gems — peaceful, open and refreshingly uncrowded. Walk to the iconic St Kilda Playground or enjoy a relaxed meal at the St Kilda Hotel. Must-sees include the St Kilda Mangrove Trail and boardwalk, perfect for spotting birdlife at sunset, and Dolphin Sanctuary kayaking experiences nearby. Try fresh local seafood along the coast or take a scenic drive to the Barossa Valley for world-class wineries. Riverlea is just five minutes away, Gawler around twenty five minutes, and Adelaide CBD approximately twenty five minutes by car. Here, you’ll enjoy big skies, open water and a true holiday atmosphere — all within easy reach of the city.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
