About this cabin rental
Because of its remote setting, access to the cabin requires a capable vehicle. A 4x4, lifted truck, or similar SUV (such as a CRV with adequate clearance) is strongly recommended to navigate the pasture crossing and wooded trail leading to the cabin. The drive in is part of the experience — rustic, scenic, and intentionally off the beaten path.
During your stay, you may encounter a wide range of sights unique to the area — from grazing livestock and horseback riders to wild coyotes in the distance. It’s not uncommon to see members of the local Amish community traveling through the surrounding countryside, adding to the peaceful and timeless atmosphere of the property.
If you’re looking for privacy, nature, and a stay that feels worlds away from the ordinary, Merlin’s Retreat delivers an experience that’s both grounding and unforgettable.
The resort is a 21 and over place please, and due to the wild nature and wilder animals that you may encounter, pets are not allowed.
Looking forward to you roaming the woods and enjoying your time here at Merlin's.
