Welcome to LaRue Rendezvous
Just beyond the bustle of Northwest Arkansas lies LaRue, a quiet, nearly forgotten community rich with history. Once home to a modest post office and general store, this special place has been lovingly reimagined as LaRue Rendezvous.
The exterior retains its original charm, while the interior has been transformed into a cozy one-bedroom studio adorned with a curated gallery of photographs celebrating the community's vibrant past.
Nestled along the serene shores of Beaver Lake, LaRue Rendezvous is a private, peaceful retreat for guests seeking time to pause, reflect, and breathe, far from the demands of daily life.
Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to make the intimate space feel both restorative and indulgent.
Sleep soundly in a comfortable king-size bed, then prepare a quiet meal in the fully equipped kitchen.
More than 250 books are tucked into the kitchen cabinets, inviting leisurely browsing and unexpected discoveries.
The private bathroom features a deep soaking tub with its own TV, along with bath salts and bubbles for a luxurious, unhurried soak. A fully stocked medicine cabinet provides everyday essentials, just in case.
A small dining area welcomes slow mornings and lingering conversations. Dominoes, cards, puzzles, and games offer cozy ways to spend an evening indoors, while the living area includes a TV for peaceful nights of unwinding.
Step onto the private deck and take in the beautiful view of Beaver Lake, just 40 yards away, depending on water levels.
Although the private boat docks are off-limits, guests are welcome to enjoy the shoreline, launch the provided kayaks, or bring their own. For motorized boats, Rocky Branch Park and its public boat ramp are only 3.5 miles down the road.
Beneath the trees, a hammock awaits for reading, napping, or dreaming away the afternoon.
Between the studio and the water, a fire pit creates the perfect setting for stargazing, storytelling, and fireside conversations.
LaRue Rendezvous now features fast, reliable Starlink Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected, stream your favorite shows, plan your adventures, or keep in touch throughout your stay.

Driveway & Parking
A circular driveway welcomes you at the front of the property. While the south side of the circle must remain open for our neighbors on Collier Lane to pass through, the remaining area offers ample parking. You'll also find additional space available just along the east side of the building.

A footpath between the fence line and the adjacent private drive leads directly to the lake's edge. This is also where we've created a fire pit area/storage area for kayaks & supplies, perfect for crisp evenings under the stars and easy launching for kayaks.

What a gem! The photos of the view from the property, and even those from the interior do not do it justice! The owners were friendly and eager to answer any questions we had during our stay. They have a knack for thinking of what you may have forgotten to pack and then made sure to have it on hand for you! Loved the historical photos and story behind this former post office. Would not ever hesitate to select this property or recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Can’t wait to be back on the porch!!

This is a fairly new rental property but the host have hit it perfectly!! The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort can’t be beat in any vrbo we have stayed in. The view is wonderful. It is peaceful and relaxing yet not far from any activity you want to enjoy. Give this unit a try, you won’t be disappointed!
