Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. One thing we really appreciated was the great water pressure—such a small detail that makes a big difference! The location was perfect—close enough to Hochatown to enjoy everything, but far enough out to avoid the busy traffic. We’d 100% stay here again!
