About this house rental
The Arkona vacation home is perfect for a vacation with family or friends.
Here you can relax in a completely peaceful setting and go on long hikes or bike rides.

1. Living/dining room
The total living area of the house is 105 m².
On the first floor is a very spacious living/dining room.
The living area is furnished with a large, comfortable three-seater and a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, a TV, and a radio.
In the front area, there is a large rustic dining table with five comfortable wicker chairs and a bench that seats four additional people.
Between the living and dining areas stands a large wood-burning stove with glass doors, which enhances the cozy atmosphere of the room on cool days. You can purchase the necessary firewood from the caretaker at any time.
From this room, you have direct access to the patio and the garden.
2. Kitchen
The kitchen is separated from the living/dining area by a glass/half-timbered wall with a glass door and features an exhaust fan that vents to the outside. (Especially important for people who enjoy cooking.)
Here you’ll find a large ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator. There is a generous supply of dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils, pots, and glasses.
3. Bedrooms
On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm), as well as a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm).
A travel crib can be set up in both rooms (provided).
On the first floor there is a bedroom with 2 single beds (90 × 200 cm).
All beds are equipped with Tempur mattress toppers and feather pillows.
An additional TV is available in one of the bedrooms.
4. Bathroom
The larger bathroom is located upstairs and features a walk-in shower, toilet, and generous counter space (which can also be used as a changing table). There is also a washing machine available here.
The bathroom on the first floor has a shower and toilet.
5. Closet
The closet is separated from the hallway and offers ample space for shoes and jackets. There is also a heated shoe rack here.
Outdoor Area/Location in Town
The property is approximately 900 m² in size and is exclusively at your disposal
6. Large garden
The approximately 900 m² property is set back a second row from the street and is therefore absolutely quiet.
The garden is surrounded by vegetation on all sides and is not visible from the street, guaranteeing a relaxing stay.
Adjacent to the house is a large patio equipped with patio furniture, cushions, and a parasol.
The garden shed contains lounge chairs, toys, and a grill. You can also store your bicycles here. There is also a bike rental service in town.
There are 4 parking spaces in front of the house.
7. Attractive Tourist Area
Our vacation home is located in Putgarten, the northernmost town on the island of Rügen. Access to the town is restricted to residents and their vacation guests. This ensures peace and quiet even during peak season.
There are many tourist attractions in the town and the surrounding area:
• The historic Rügenhof with small shops run by artisans
• The lighthouses and the observation tower at Cape Arkona
• The historic bunker complex at Cape Arkona
• The picturesque fishing village of Vitt
Particularly noteworthy is the diverse landscape that characterizes the northernmost tip of Rügen—long sandy and rocky beaches, cliffs, and varied vegetation.
Well-maintained hiking and biking trails make the area around Putgarten an attractive destination for hikers and nature lovers all year round.
The town is surrounded by the sea on three sides, which guarantees excellent air quality in every season, making it ideal for people with respiratory problems.
The approximately 10-kilometer-long natural sandy beach between Juliusruh and Glowe is about a 15-minute drive away.
8. Miscellaneous
The entire house is designated as a non-smoking property.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets at Haus Arkona.
