About this farm stay rental
Bring the whole family to this private retreat with lots of room for fun. Our home is a rare blend of timeless character and thoughtful updates. Originally built in 1946, it carries the charm of its era, now enhanced with modern touches inside and out. This 2200 SF on a 1.5-acre lot for a nice morning walk among the mature trees, and only steps from the river. Come enjoy a nice fire pit, BBQ, river, or the large yard & pick up pecans from the large pecan trees. With 3 bedrooms including 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 queen air mattress, and 1 bunk bed, this adorable property is perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the convenience of freshly remodeled 2 bathrooms equipped with essentials and showers. Experience what Seguin has to offer with a stay at our farmhouse.
Guests can park in the front, a large on-site private parking lot that can accommodate up to 4 passenger cars, perfect for river toys towing. The front and back bedrooms in the house have their own access doors to the front yard, which provides additional privacy. There are a few steps to climb to access the front and back main porches and the house.

- 5 min drive to Seguin downtown and Burnt Bean BBQ Restaurant
- 4 min drive to Lake Placid boat ramp
We are the second parcel property, and are within walking distance from the river, but do not have direct access to the water. The river can be accessible to fishing enthusiasts through the area under the bridge on Kingsbury Street. Due to the water elevations being down because of the Lake Placid dam repair, we recommend accessing the river for water activities through the public ramp on I10 (4 min drive) or Max Starcke Park (6 min drive), for easy access to the water.
