Welcome to Lake Haus! Our cabin is tucked away on a private lake with mountain & water views, the perfect space to unwind in nature. This new construction home (2026) provides a peaceful escape with plenty of amenities for a memorable stay. We also offer HIGH SPEED STARLINK WIFI for streaming and work from home capabilities.

Our property highlights include: an indoor sauna, outdoor hot tub, outdoor grill, outdoor firepit, game room with atari, shuffleboard and more.

✸IMPORTANT✸— PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

*** Lake Haus is a true rural mountain property. The final road leading to the cabin is rough and uneven, and a high-clearance vehicle is required for access. Please plan your vehicle accordingly before booking. Truck or SUV required.

*** The private lake is beautiful for enjoying the views and fishing is PERMITTED, but the lake is NOT SUITABLE for swimming and kayaks, paddleboards, boats or other watercraft are not permitted.

*** The property is also approximately 25 minutes from the nearest full-service store, so we strongly recommend purchasing groceries and supplies before arriving.

*** There is another rental dome approximately 50 yards away that shares the driveway. A large privacy fence separates the two properties.

*** The king bed loft area is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. Guests with mobility or fitness issues are not advised using this area so please plan accordingly to use the main level queen bedroom.

There are two bathrooms to enjoy by all guests. One bathroom is on the main level next to Bedroom 1 by the kitchen, the other is downstairs in the finished basement area. One features a tub and the other a shower. The bathroom is stocked with clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

*** The cabin has a lake view but we do not allow any type of swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or activities inside the lake. Fishing is allowed.

*** BASEMENT SAUNA + GAMES ***
The home also features our favorite amenity, a custom built SAUNA with seating for 8, a Pac-Man / Galaga Arcade Game, and a large Shuffleboard table!

★ HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLE REQUIRED ★
Please do not book unless you are able to rent an SUV or Truck as the road accessing the cabin is very rough and several guests have been stuck recently in low clearance sedans.

★ LOFT KING BED ★
The loft area is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. We do not recommend this sleeping area for guests with mobility or fitness issues.

★ DOME NEXT DOOR ★
There is a rental geodesic dome that shares the same driveway as this cabin. A large privacy fence between both structures keeps privacy.

★ PETS ALLOWED ★
We’d love to host your furry friends as well! We charge a $120 pet fee.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

★ LAKE NOT ACCESSIBLE ★
While the lake is beautiful to look at, it is not accessible for swimming and water activities. There is a river access point 3 min away and a great pond for fishing 10 min away.

Additional Rules:
1. The road leading into the cabin has been washed out in several places due to severe storms this year, we REQUIRE only bringing high clearance 4WD vehicles.
2. Cabin has a small lake in front only for fishing. NO SWIMMING OR KAYAKING ALLOWED.
3. The loft bedroom is accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. Please do not book if you have mobility or fitness issues and need to access this sleeping area.
4. This is a RURAL neighborhood. The closest gas station and grocery store is 25 min away. If you require anything specific, please bring with you before arrival.
5. There is a Geodesic Dome next to this cabin that shares the same driveway. About 75 yds between the structures. We installed a tall privacy fence between both rentals to ensure privacy.
6. Quiet Hours are 9 pm to 7 am. Many of the surrounding neighbors live in their homes and do not tolerate parties/events/loud noise.
7. Total Guests allowed are 6. Please do not bring additional guests unless approved with host prior.
8. Pets are allowed but must be listed on the reservation. There is an additional cleaning fee involved. If bringing a pet, please update the reservation.
9. We drain and refill the hot tub regularly for your health and safety. As noted, the hot tub may not be full heated your first night if we had to drain and refill it the morning of your arrival.
