We absolutely loved our stay at the turtle rock cabin! The welcoming smores were so perfect and the cabin’s ambiance was awesome. Our host was very friendly and made our time at the cabin feel very welcoming and inviting. we enjoyed how close the cabin was to luray caverns and how spacious the living space was. The cabin itself was in a nice, secluded area. However, 1 night a pitbull showed up while we were sitting on the porch and other night a german shephard showed up. We didn't stay out long enough to see if they were friendly or not. On 2 nights a neighbor was doing target shooting which was a bit unnerving as there is only a tree line seperating the homes. When we arrived it was 85 degrees and the ac had not been turned on and it took a good 6 hours for the cabin to cool down. Along with that we had to make the beds, the sheets and pillow cases were in a clear plastic bag as was all of the towels, thought that was odd. The kitchen was well stocked but if you go make sure to take your own personal care items.
