Walserhaus: Your Retreat in the Mountains—Your Alpine Home in a Historic Farmhouse.
Welcome to our farmhouse, which is over 200 years old—a place where authentic Alpine tradition and Alpine comfort make your stay especially pleasant. The lovingly preserved farmhouse parlor, the original woodwork, and the authentic atmosphere let you feel, the moment you step inside, just how much history these rooms hold. Here you’ll experience a mountain vacation full of character and charm.
The house offers a total of eight cozy sleeping accommodations, 1 double bedroom, 1 connecting room (1 bunk bed), and a shared room (2 single beds and 1 bunk bed), and is ideal for families, groups of friends, or small teams who value privacy and a homey atmosphere. You’ll have the entire farmhouse to yourselves.
A note about ceiling heights: This traditional farmhouse was built at a time when people were shorter than they are today. The ceiling heights are therefore lower than in modern homes—an authentic detail that contributes to the historic atmosphere.
The farmhouse is just a few minutes’ walk from the village center. Restaurants, bars, shopping, and numerous recreational and sports activities are all within easy reach. This allows you to combine absolute peace and quiet with proximity to everything that enriches your vacation.
In the summer, hiking adventures begin practically right at your doorstep: Numerous routes and hiking options start right at the house. In winter, you can reach the village ski lift in just a few minutes, and shortly thereafter, you’ll be gliding down freshly groomed slopes—skiing fun right on your doorstep.

Our vacation home is one of the last three original Walser houses in Brand and is more than 200 years old. The cozy farmhouse parlor, with its tiled stove, still provides a warm and inviting atmosphere today, allowing you to experience the true value of a vacation in the mountains. With a total of 8 beds, the house is ideal for families and groups. However, our ancestors were shorter than we are today, so the ceiling heights are somewhat lower—something to keep in mind when booking. The beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from our porch is highly appreciated by our guests.
Layout: 1 double room, 1 room with a bunk bed, 1 room with 1 bunk bed and 2 single beds, living room, 2 bathrooms/toilets, and kitchen.

On-site fees: Your four-legged friend is very welcome here. We charge €15.00 per night per dog or cat.
