Having spent time basking in your garden or utilising the on-site facilities, plan an adventure and prepare to discover the surrounding area. Stay close and explore Gisburn Forest and the Stocks Reservoir (5.5 miles) or venture towards the village of Sawley and take a walk along the River Ribble (6 miles). Local Lancashire and Yorkshire towns including Clitheroe (10 miles), Settle (8.5 miles) and Skipton (16.5 miles) each offer plenty to do on an enjoyable afternoon out, an ideal respite between adventure-packed days of outdoor activities.
