This apartment has its own private entry and shares a porch with another apartment. The grounds, and basement are shared as well. Ask us for basement access if you need to use the workout area or laundry facilities. Parking is on-street and free.
Due to the quirks of modernizing a historic home, all amenities have been retrofitted. Stairs are required to navigate this home. The main level has a wall ac unit located in the kitchen. Portable fans are available as well, if desired. The upper level has central air conditioning. The entire unit is heated with a modern boiler system through antique radiators. There is a streaming television in each queen bedroom and free high speed wifi internet.
The Historic Marcy-Holmes area is known as the first neighborhood in Minneapolis, and is studded with historic sites and beautiful, ancient oak trees. The home is within walking distance to downtown Minneapolis, the Mississippi River and the iconic Stone Arch Bridge.
