Our 4-night stay at III Savoy de Monumentalis by Pausa Holiday was one of the finest vacation rental experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The apartment is stunning—beautifully appointed, modern, elegant, and luxurious without feeling pretentious. Every space is thoughtfully designed, and it is equipped with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the entire property feels brand new and meticulously maintained. What truly sets this property apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality. Claudia was simply outstanding. After a long overnight flight, she graciously arranged an early check-in, which was incredibly appreciated. Her warmth, responsiveness, and generosity made us feel welcome from the very first moment. We were greeted with a thoughtful selection of local pastries, wine, and traditional Madeira soda—a wonderful touch that perfectly reflected the spirit of Madeira hospitality. The location is ideal. It places you in the heart of Funchal, within easy reach of excellent restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet the apartment remains remarkably peaceful and quiet. It offers the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. And then there is the terrace. Words hardly do it justice. The panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking and quickly became our favorite part of the apartment. Whether enjoying a morning coffee while watching the city wake up, sharing a meal outdoors, or ending the day with a glass of wine as the lights twinkled across the bay, the terrace provided a truly unforgettable setting. III Savoy de Monumentalis is more than just a place to stay—it is a place that enhances your entire Madeira experience. We left already talking about when we could return, and we would recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking a first-class stay in Funchal.
