Charming Apartment a c 1BR 4P - Antibes

We were welcomed very warmly and the host was very friendly. We also really appreciated being allowed to stay for an extra hour before check-out. It was also great that the apartment provided everything we needed for a beach day, including a beach towel, chairs and umbrellas. Overall, the apartment was well equipped for a stay. The public beaches were just a 5–10-minute walk from the apartment.

The apartment itself is quite worn and some things were damaged, including the door handles and some of the furniture. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and was quite dirty. We also found traces of makeup and hair on the bed linen, which was unpleasant. The pillow provided for the third guest was also extremely uncomfortable and seemed to be of very poor quality, almost like a pillowcase filled with cotton or stuffing. The building itself is quite old and unfortunately there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the common areas. Another downside was the street noise. The balcony overlooks a busy road, and even with the windows closed, the traffic noise was still quite noticeable. Earplugs were necessary for me to sleep comfortably.
