CROFFLE COTTAGE SANUR - Walk to the Beach & ICON Mall

I loved the location, it was a lovely comfortable little home away from home. I will definitely be returning and also telling my friends.

Too many automatic air fresheners, not good for allergy sufferers to perfumes. That’s the only complaint and not really a complaint, just a suggestion.

We really enjoyed staying at Croffle Cottage, we got a great deal for a whole month and we were sad to leave! Its an older style property but very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a good kitchen (coffee machine, blender, microwave, toaster, sharp knives, lots of pots, pans, crockery and glasses as well as a gas hob and decent sized fridge freezer). 2 Ensuite bedrooms with air con, good beds and nice cotton bedding, strong Wi-Fi and a living area with a big TV, air con and fans. The property is close to the Sindhu market and an easy walk to restaurants, Icon Mall and the beach. It is probably one of the few streets left in Sanur with lots of Balinese still living there so you get a real slice of local culture. The manager/owner Firman was just lovely to deal with, very pleasant, kind and caring - nothing was too much trouble and any issues we had were quickly sorted out by him or the neighbor Ketut. Perfect for a couple, 2 friends traveling together or a small family. Reccomend!

The nice outdoor area and pool, sadly doesn't get much direct sun, so its not great if you want to sunbathe, and the pool as a result, is - "refreshing" - would be perfect when its really hot Oct/Nov though. The water pressure and temperature in the Master ensuite wasn't the best but we used the other bathroom when we needed a really hot shower (not often an issue in Bali). There are neighbors in the sreet with dogs and chickens, though they did not bother us at all.
