CasAmaka

We had an amazing time at CasAmaka. It's a secluded, spacious house in the middle of its own plot in the best location on the island for accessing all the different locations, and only a short hop down to a lovely beach where we went every morning for coffees and to pick up a delicious picnic from the family-run beach bar for the day's adventures. The house is well appointed and has everything you need (good sofas, beach beds, washing machine, good shutters for sleeping, two verandas and a roof terrace). One of the best things about our stay was the service given by the manager Pietro and his lovely team. They picked us up at the port, let us do some shopping, then transported us to the house where two electric bikes were waiting for us, hired at the lowest price we found. They were on call whenever we needed, and on the final day, we left the bikes for them to deal with and they picked us up and took us to the ferry again. It was so easy! The bikes were the best way to get around and were lots of fun. Favignana is incredibly beautiful and we'd love to return to CasAmaka again.

As others have mentioned, there are some little ants around, but they are tiny ones, and they were never in the kitchen. The property managers are clearly trying to take steps to deal with them. Everything else was great.
