La casa di Melania è un gioiellino: è proprio in piazza Madrice, a 5 minuti a piedi dal porto e da lì a piedi è facilissimo anche muoversi di sera. In più ha un balcone meraviglioso che si affaccia proprio sulla chiesa della piazza. Inoltre la signora Melania è gentilissima: ci ha dato un sacco di suggerimenti su spiagge da visitare, ristoranti in cui andare a cena, a chi rivolgerci per il noleggio bici o una gita in barca dell’isola e cosa visitare.

The location is excellent - a short walk from the ferry and in the heart of Favignana! It is ideal for those who want to soak up the town's atmosphere. I'm so glad we chose to stay here! It is walkable to anything else you need and a great base for exploring the island in both directions. The apartment itself is beautiful! It felt like a treat to stay there; they have great taste in design. I think the kitchen and bathroom must have local stone, which is stunning. It is well set up with everything you need. The bed and sofa were so comfortable, although I wish we had found the extra pillows earlier! We had one of the apartments with a balcony that overlooked the square and has a great view of the mountain. The terrace is a perfect spot to relax and people-watch as it overlooks the main square. The view is incredible. We used it often - enjoying a drink at sunset, coffee in the morning, watching a band play in the square, eating pizza, drying our clothes. I would bring a yoga mat next time. It is a shared space between three apartments, but it is a large space with table/chairs/loungers/clothes rack for each, so we would have been comfortable sharing it had we run into anyone. Melania is an amazing host, she is easily contactable by WhatsApp, and nothing is too much. She sent us a helpful document before our stay with lots of local advice. The restaurant recommendations are amazing - I recommend making reservations in advance because they are popular! We got a special rate for hiring a scooter, which was great too. It was easy for us to park nearby, but we did visit in early October which I'm sure was much quieter :)

Would have been PERFECT if the bed was setup with two pillows each because we didn't find the others until we were leaving and my preference is bottled toiletries over sachets.
