Die Lage auf dem Land, als Vorort von Lübeck war ruhig, erholsam und für Naturliebhaber empfehlenswert. In der Umgebung gibt es einige gute Hofläden und ein gutes Restaurant.
Die Unterkunft wäre an sich schön, wenn die Wohnungspflege genauer genommen werden würde. Sie ist neu und frisch renoviert und mit einfachen Möbeln (Ikea-Style) ausgestattet. Toiletten und Fussbodenreinigung könnte besser werden. Da das Gestüt einen eigenen Brunnen hat, ist leider die Wasserleitung mit Sand durchsetzt.
