Location, location, location : that are the main advantages of the apartment. Close to the memorial, metro, taxis up and available in the avenue, stunning view of the freedom tower. Equipments is good also, even if I could have use a pasta drainer (because pasta is the only thing cheap to eat in this city).

Although clean, the overall condition of the apartment is rather average (exposed cables, and worn-out furniture). I was expecting better based on the photos. It explains the competitive price we paid, but it's a shame because the apartment has potential. The apartment is due for a total overhaul. When you book, you get a message that can let you think it is a scam : the address is different from the booking site (for the better) and the arrival procedure is a bit weird (“don’t talk to the doorman”). But it was ok at the end although we were not quite at ease each time we saw the doorman going or leaving the building.

Location was great and close to many attractions.

There was some construction in the area and also in the building.

Fantastic location! Great to open windows and have the cooling breeze from the Hudson wafting in.. no need for AC.. Bldg has great amenities and parking garage a few steps away is $55 per day. Cab stand right outside the bldg also. Great eats very close by. Owner very helpful on arrival. Kitchen/bath fine. THE VIEWS ARE TO DIE FOR. Can't wait to return. Even tho on the 30th floor great home away from home.

a bit more art on the bedroom walls would be nice.. but the views made up for it!
