FavoritPlace - Vienna Main station - 7 min to city center

L'appartamento si trova nel X distretto, Favoriten, che non è di certo uno dei più belli di Vienna. Ma la posizione è strategica: 500 metri dalla stazione di Wien Hbf, con treni che la collegano all'aeroporto ogni 15 minuti; 200 metri dalla fermata della metropolitana di Keplerplatz, linea U1, quella più usata dai turisti perché serve tutto il centro storico. L'appartamento è stato ristrutturato di recente, l'arredamento è nuovo e di buon livello. Gli spazi sono quelli giusti: ampio soggiorno con angolo cottura, tavolo a 4 posti, grande schermo TV e comodo divano; camera con armadio e cassettiera; bagno, wc e lavanderia separati. Le dotazioni per la cucina sono complete; c'è anche una grande lavastoviglie. Ottima l'insonorizzazione. Il check in è stato molto semplice grazie alle istruzioni fornite dall'host sempre puntuale nelle comunicazioni. Uno degli appartamenti più belli in cui mi sia capitato di soggiornare.

La doccia è walk-in ma il cristallo è corto e se si usa il soffione a pioggia si bagna per terra. Ma se si usa il soffione standard, non c'è nessun problema.

Das Apartment hat eine super Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß am Hauptbahnhof und in 2 Minuten an der nächsten U- Bahn Haltestelle der Linie 1, die zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt führt. In wenigen Minuten findet man auch alle notwendigen Geschäfte und ist am Keplerplatz, wo es mehrere nette Restaurants gibt. Das Viertel an sich ist nicht das schönste in Wien, aber dafür super gelegen. Check- in war problemlos, alle Infos lagen pünktlich vor und wir kamen problemlos in die Wohnung. Wir hatten ein 55m2 Studio über 2 Ebenen im Hinterhaus. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, alles ist neu und schön zusammengestellt. Auch auf der Schlafcouch konnte man gut schlafen. Küche hat nicht besonders viele Utensilien, aber alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Ein absolutes Plus im Sommer die Klimaanlage - wir brauchten sie im Oktober nicht. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber sehr gut, wir hatten aber auch keine akuten Probleme. Sauberkeit und Komfort waren perfekt.

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: der Balkon war in einem eher unschönen Zustand. Das ist sehr schade, da er die Wohnung nochmal enorm aufwertet und an sich schön ist. Auch von der Küche/Wohnzimmer aus schaut man permanent darauf, selbst wenn man nicht rausgeht. Ab und zu Unkraut entfernen und eine Topflanze würden hier wahre Wunder bewirken. Im Schlafzimmer wäre ein Vorhang wie im Wohnzimmer super. Aber das sind absolute Kleinigkeiten und Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Die Wohnung ist ganz neu und qualitativ hochwertig ausgestattet. Es fehtl an nichts und ist wirklich wunderschön.

Very close ( about a block & a half ) to the U1 underground public transportation station, & the proximity to the underground station is the only reason that I opted for staying here.

The host tried to overcharge the Vienna City Tax that all tourists have to pay, but did reduce it when I pointed out that what they were charging was WRONG. Who know how many previous customers that they robbed by overcharging them. Coffee is included & in their fantastic generosity the host provided 1 (!) Nespresso capsule for every morning; & the Nespresso machine provided a 'little' cup amount of coffee when pressing the 'big cup' button & and 'large cup' amount when pressing the 'little cup' button. + the cups provided were to tall to properly fit on the machine. The TV channels kept dropping out (weak Wi-Fi?). It was better a lot of the times to hotspot the internet to my notebook off of my phone instead of using the Wi-Fi as it was more reliable. The door to the bathroom sticks on the floor. Water pressure in the sink in the kitchen is quite pathetic. Yes, there is a balcony, but it is quite sad when you want to go out on the balcony & it's raining; you can see all the other balconies in the neighboring buildings have cover over their balconies, but not the one that you are standing on.
