Private Garden Room in Shared Maisonette, Balluta Bay, w live-in cat

I live in Italy and spent four days here on vacation in Malta. It’s a fantastic spot, conveniently located for exploring the island and well-served by amenities; the sea is just a short walk away. You feel right at home. The host is wonderful, and I would gladly come back.

The host was very helpful and provided clear instructions by email, making the property easy to find and access with the self check-in lockbox. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures: spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Our private room was lovely, especially the beautiful Maltese stone walls. We also enjoyed having the terrace and BBQ area to ourselves, and the host kindly allowed us to spend time there with our friends from Malta. The shared spaces had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, and even bathroom essentials like shampoo and soap. The location was another big plus — quiet residential streets, yet just around the corner from the beach and city centre. Horus the cat and the host Nefertiti were both very friendly and respectful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

All was good. Guests should just consider if it is a good decision renting a car during July & August, as I assume the Island is pretty crowded.

Great spot, super central, you can walk pretty much anywhere. Host cooked and I'm still thinking about it. Everything was super clean and the house is very well-equipped. The back garden catches sun all day and it’s the best for a morning coffee! Also there's a cat called Horus running the building, which alone is worth the booking. One night was not enough, lesson learned.

To be honest all was going smooth. Its pretty nice place and nice host
