The location is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. It is the building farthest from the centre of Campione, making it exceptionally tranquil and perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds but a car or motorcycle it’s a must. Although it’s located at 427 meters from the sea level and is facing the lake, the trees from the front of the building are blocking entirely the otherwise majestic view of the lake and its surroundings. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The living room features a large TV with a TV box offering a wide selection of channels as well as on-demand content. The bedroom provides plenty of space around the bed, and the mattress is comfortably firm. The bathroom is very spacious and has an excellent supply of instant hot water. The kitchen is functional, with ample counter space for preparing anything from a simple snack to a full meal. It also includes a large refrigerator and a Nespresso coffee machine. The air conditioning is outstanding—very quiet and highly effective.

There are only a few small improvements that could make an already excellent property even better. A coat rack or wall hooks near the entrance would be very convenient to hang an umbrella or a hat. The bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain to help keep the floor dry. While both the washing machine and dishwasher are a great convenience, no laundry or dishwasher detergent is provided. Since these products are typically sold in large packages, purchasing them for a short stay can be inconvenient. The kitchen could also be better equipped with a few additional items, such as larger coffee mugs (250–300 mL instead of the current 150 mL cups), a chef’s knife for food preparation, and a bottle opener/corkscrew. Finally, the iron should be replaced or repaired, as one of its power cord wires has an exposed wire through insulation. The windows and terrace door do not have insect screens. However, during my one-week stay, I did not encounter any insects, so this was not an issue in practice.

Der Aufbau der Wohnungwar gut, die vorhandene Klimaanlage war super. Eingerichtete Küche alles neu mit Inventar. Die Wohnung frisch renoviert.

Man hat Bemerkt, dass die Wohnung erst kürzlich renoviert wurde und noch Kleinigkeiten zu machen sind. Dass es im Wohnzimmer mit dem Schlafsofa keinen Rolladen hatte. Aber so wie es ausgesehen hat von der Vorbereitung, sollte dort ein elektrischer Rolladen hinkommen. Das Treppenhaus und die Umgebung wäre noch verschönerungswürdig.

Posizione favorevole per chi si muove in auto a Campione con possibilità di parcheggio gratuito. Spazi generosi per due persone data anche la presenza di un divano letto. Self check-in utilissimo e molto apprezzata anche la seconda chiave che ci ha lasciato.

L’intero edificio è molto datato e avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Una volta all’interno mi aspettavo almeno la vista sul lago e invece c’erano diversi alberi davanti alle finestre che ostruivano il tutto. Abbiamo soggiornato dal 4 all’15 giugno e durante metà della permanenza c’erano dei lavori in corso. In cucina abbiamo fatto fatica con le stoviglie presenti (qualche pentola in più ci avrebbe fatto comodo) per non parlare della mancanza di carta da cucina o delle cose base per condire.

Sehr gute Lage um oberitalienische Seen zu erkunden, Ausstattung in Ordnung, gepflegt und sauber, im Detail etwas verspielt. Lara als Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tiefgaragenplatz vorhanden.

Auf Booking-Seite wird Lage der Unterkunft in Como angegeben, tatsächlich befindet sie sich aber in der italienischen Enklave Campione d‘ Italia auf Schweizer Gebiet am Luganer See. Gebäude der Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
