Property is in the middle of all kyoto attractions so its very handy to take the train, bike(property offers bikes to use for free) and taxi. Hostess was very accommodating although she didnt speak english as fluently she went above and beyond trying to communicate with us via app translation making our stay very enjoyable and fun. House is a traditional Japanese house which we greatly enjoyed the experience especially the use of the bath and tatami rooms and the balcony in the summer enjoying beer. Could also see the sunrise over the room love it

東山がお部屋から見え暑い日でしたので、縁側でお食事はしませんでしたが素晴らしい松の木、鴨川のせせらぎ 京都らしい設えと、古き良き日本家屋での滞在を満喫しました。

夕食に頂いた女将さんオススメのイタリアンのお弁当が、リ－ナブルなのに品数も多くて、とても美味しかったです。
