Location was right outside the west entrance to the park. A short walking / biking distance to the train station, post office, several good restaurants, putt putt golf, and local shops. Staff was accommodating with our after-hours check in. Basketball court and outdoor seating for those beautiful evenings you want to get some fresh air.
So close to the train station we could hear the train horns. Only woke me up the first night though because I was so exhausted from hiking the following nights. Otherwise, a quiet little motel. Beds were older spring mattresses, but again, I was so tired it didn’t keep me from falling asleep.

Convenient to Glacier
Stairs to the upper rooms was sketchy, air conditioning only in certain rooms, very old interior. Not worth the $260
