Peaceful Family Retreat in Knokke-Heist

Clean, very easy self check-in and check-out, and quick communication with the owner — we needed to extend our stay by one day, and this was arranged without any problem. Overall, the apartment was convenient, quite comfortable, and pleasant. There is new washing machine and dryer, as well as a kitchen suitable for cooking. There were also drinking glasses for every possible occasion, from champagne flutes to cognac glasses))) And the view from the living room over the sea and sandy beach was very calming and beautiful.

The layout of the apartment was rather inconvenient for us: the bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms, and one of them is divided into two separate rooms: a toilet and a shower with a sink. The bedroom with the double bed is very small, and the bed takes up almost the entire room. Getting up at night to go to the toilet without bumping into corners while half asleep is quite a challenge. The rubbish system was especially inconvenient. It is not enough simply to separate glass, plastic, cardboard and general waste, you also have to take everything yourself to collection points located who knows where, and general waste can only be disposed of for a fee. This is extremely inconvenient and not at all guest/user-friendly. We also missed a few small but useful things, such as paper kitchen towels, a large kitchen knife, espresso cups and small dessert plates. Unfortunately, there was renovation work going on in the neighbouring apartment, which woke us up on weekdays before 8 a.m. :( Parking near the building was not very easy.
