Traditional concept modern comfort. Exceptional staff. Nice wholesome experience with local cuisine.
And the book collection (in Tamil) can make me stay there for very loooooong. Have already started recommending to people who want a few days of unwind and visit Kancheepuram - the way we did.
Location is in no mans land but for those who are looking for time away !!!

Loved the warmth of the hosting team - they were super active, responsive, professional, kind and personable. Despite the team being native of Kanchipuram, their goals and execution was on point to make the guests happy about staying at Mutram!
Felt it to be slightly pricey - not too much, but just slightly. Perhaps the host could consider including one meal into the tariff. However, this is a very minor point considering all the other good aspects of the place.
