The Wi Fi remained a nightmare and despite various attempts and advised by the owner was not connected. A little bit of parking issue but not mentionable.

My partner and I stayed here recently. The property itself was clean, modern, and nicely decorated, and we didn’t have any major issues with it. Overall, it’s a lovely place. However, there were a couple of things that could have made the stay better. We’ve stayed in many places before and have never had to go out and buy basic necessities like sugar and milk, so it would have been nice if those had been provided for convenience. One concern was the check-in process. We were sent a link which asked for a £400 “safety deposit,” which felt quite excessive. There was also an option to pay a £150 non-refundable “damage waiver.” This wasn’t clearly explained upfront, and I had to contact the host to clarify. Thankfully I did, otherwise I could have been robbed £150 before even arriving. I’d advise anyone considering staying here to be aware of this. The refund of £400 took a week to be refunded back to my account which I think is diabolical. Another issue was with the late check-out. We paid £30 to check out at 1pm, but at 12:50, while we were still packing, a woman with a small child knocked on the door saying it was “check out time”. She and the child then stood outside while we were trying to gather our belongings, which felt quite uncomfortable and rushed, especially given we had paid for the extra time and technically had 10 minutes to leave. Overall, the property itself is great, but the experience could be improved with clearer communication and a more considerate check-out process.
