The Airstrip - South Taxiway

Excellent location and walkable to Talkeetna attractions. Two separate bedrooms helpful, and the couch and bedding were comfortable. It was great to have a washer/dryer on site and laundry soap. Liked that we had ability to make coffee in the morning and kitchen was well-equipped. Car port a real bonus in rainy weather. Space to take off and store shoes was helpful - so you aren’t tracking in mud. This is a great cabin overall but very recently completed (it appears) so some basics were missing and/or still in process and once attended to, this would definitely be a top place to stay!

There is no place to put your luggage or belongings, like a luggage stand or a dresser, towel racks, toilet paper holder, or hooks (you can never have too many hooks!) to hang up jackets or other items. While the bedrooms are roomy enough, the furniture is the bed and two nightstands and so belongings end up being organized as best you can on the floor. The small entryway needs a bench or chairs so you can remove shoes more easily—another great place for some hooks for jackets. The door between bathroom and guest bedroom with bunk beds hard to close. There was no information sent prior to check in about how to access cabin, Wi-Fi, etc, but host was very responsive when we reached out to inquire about the procedures/password. Please put numbers on the outside of the house.
