Talkeetna Log Cabin with Hot Tub Unit 2

This little cabin was nice for our stay in Talkeetna. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer was a huge plus. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but the area looked nice and clean.

My only complaint is the stairwell is quite narrow and steep. Since all of the beds are upstairs, that might be one thing to note depending on who is in your party.

Cleanliness

The property is so neat and clean. Cabin was cute and cozy. Fully furnished with everything you need.

Nothing

The location was very good for our needs. The cabin was very thoughtfully equipped with the items needed for a short stay. The hot tub was clean and in excellent condition. Hint: you must move around to the various seats as the jets are different at each seating. The information provided by the host for our stay was sufficient. The second room had a single bed and a double bed. The bathroom was supplied well. The common areas were nicely done with tables, chairs, and grills. It was within walking distance of the river. There were 3 fishing boats there when we stayed so I guess it was a good location for anyone who enjoys fishing.

The single bed was squeaky when you moved around. There was no heat source upstairs even though the heater downstairs was working well enough to provide enough heat to the cabin. I'm not sure I would stay there in the winter.
